 Warren Sports International is a global sports agency that built its reputation by working throughout Europe, and then expanding to the NBA as its client base grew. Our connections overseas are second to none. We felt that to begin a company and have a solid foundation, it was necessary to be one of the best in representing players in Europe first. Then, we continued our focus on being one of the best at working on giving our players chances in the NBA. We were successful in this pursuit as the NBA teams recognized what strong players we had and the character that our players bring to their teams. To be successful, we needed to work as hard as we could to build solid relationships with the teams we work with overseas and that directly translated to WSI building solid relationships in the NBA. We continue to work as hard as we did the day we started our company, and will continue to do so.

Prior to starting Warren Sports International, Chris Warren was a High School and College basketball coach in Indiana. This is important because we take pride in finding players who have the drive to succeed, and in recognizing the ability of each player we recruit and represent. We are always looking for quality, high level players who fit the “character of our company” and carry themselves with “PRIDE” in what they do each and every day. Therefore, we are always careful of who we bring into the WSI family. We take pride in who we represent and we will always provide them with the personal attention that each and every one of them deserves.

Warren Sports International is an elite agency with the player in mind. For example, if we feel that the player has a legitimate shot of making the NBA, then we will do everything in our power to make that happen. We will not just try to place players overseas and not give them the opportunity to fulfill a dream of getting a shot in the NBA. We are not just in it to sign players to send them to play overseas so we can collect our 10% agent fee, which some agents will do. Furthermore, we are not just looking for players who will be playing overseas; we do represent NBA players as well. We take pride in the fact that many of our players we have signed have received their chance to play in the NBA as well as achieving a high level overseas.

 Our philosophy is simple. We work one on one with each athlete, and are committed to doing whatever is necessary in order to place them at the highest level for which they are capable. With some athletes the process may take longer than others. We understand this and thus are very proactive in matching athletes with teams that assist them with personal growth and development. We also understand that each athlete is unique, so we are very creative in designing a plan tailored to individual ability. Bottom line is, “we are dedicated to taking the time to prepare our athletes so that they may achieve the highest level of competition possible.”

 Our combined team has more than twenty years of experience in every facet of the business of athletics. One must understand that in our current corporate environment, a career as a professional athlete is now a form of business and must be acknowledged as such. We assist our players by working directly with athletic trainers, basketball teams at all levels in both the U.S. and Europe, financial advisors as well as marketing personnel to ensure that we utilize every possible avenue in order to assist and promote our athletes. We understand that teamwork is essential in analyzing opportunities and selecting and implementing a strong business plan that will meet the needs of our clients, and that is exactly how we work. We are a team that believes in staying abreast of our field by performing routine industry research and providing exceptional client services which enables our clients to focus on their profession and have confidence that with our assistance they will be prepared. There is no star system-just a collective focus on achieving client objectives and exceeding expectations.

 As a 100%-employee owned agency, our management style puts emphasis on exceptional client services. It is no secret that without the client we would not be in business, and we take that very seriously. We are a company with high integrity and our business values include always putting the client first. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, where basketball is “king”, we are less exposed to popular, “group thinking” and are very comfortable exploring avenues that may differ from the consensus. We believe that achieving better-than-average results depends upon the ability to think outside the box and sometimes deviate from the standard business practices of the average agency.
